USDA Funds Available Again!
No down payment? Want to purchase outside the Tucson city limits? You may be in luck. After months of depleted funds, the Single Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program is once again replenished with funds. Over $1.6 billion in funds was appropriated in early September for those who fall within certain income limits who wish to purchase a primary residence within certain geographic limits. This program offers 103.5% financing which include the 3.5% funding fee required to utilize this program. Many suburban neighborhoods fall within the qualifying geographic limits. Certain restrictions apply and it is not known when the funds will be depleted again. Please call Katy Furman with questions. The program is administered by the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH) and was created to help homebuyers purchase foreclosed properties in the State of Arizona. ADOH has designated funds for the Your Way Home AZ Program. Buyers and properties must meet certain requirements including income level, location and purchase price.
